Sadie Anne's baptism

What a special day.  Not only was it Bobba's 67th birthday, but it is also the day that Sadie Anne was baptized. The photos aren't great, but will share anyway.  We will have better photos to follow.  Our friends, the DeMars also came and Rebekah got to be there for Sadie Anne.  Braeden Mathieu was also baptized but he didn't want to get too close to Sadie Anne for a photo.  Mrs. Durrant, Sadie Anne's kindergarten teacher, stopped in the lobby for a hug and a photo.

Halloween 2010

We enjoyed trick or treating with our friends, the Moores.  We had the Fairy godmother and Puss and Boots from Shrek.

Career Day at Fletcher Elementary

Today is Career Day at Fletcher Elementary and the girls thought as long and hard about these outfits as they did their Halloween Costume.  Carleigh is as much of an HGTV junkie as I am and I find her watching it more than the Disney Channel.  She was torn between an Architect and an Interior Designer.  We suggested that she check out a book at the library and see.  It was unanimous....Architect it was.  She got in the car from school and announced it and we immediately called our friend and neighbor, Skip.  He is a custom home builder and we knew it would have the props.  He let her borrow a hard hat and a set of blue prints.

Sadie Anne had decided she wanted to be an artist.  So we pulled out the crayon apron that Aunt Ju Ju had given us and filled it with crayons, drawing pencils, and a paint brush.  We couldn't find a hat or any other prop, so we are hoping that folks will be able to tell.  But I have no doubt that Sadie Anne will tell them.
