Back to Normal....

I think we are finally back to normal since Neil is home. We all seem to be sleeping on the same time zone and we are certainly glad Neil is home safe and sound. Sadie Anne seems to be benefiting the most from his return....just this AM, she said - "Daddy isn't going back to Africa, right?" Carleigh got her report card this week and did very well. Needs a little extra attention in math, but I really believe she just needs to slow down and take her time. She can break your heart in a minute, which she did. She was so disappointed in herself over her math comments, but after a pep talk from Mom and Dad, I think we are on the way up! That is the hardest part as a parent, protecting your children, preparing them for life in the big world, and not wanting to hurt another human who has hurt them! Since I would do no one any good in jail, I'll bite my tongue and we will learn these hard life lessons together. Sadie Anne chipped her front tooth last week, so we had the pleasure of experiencing the dentist. She did fine, but will have to have 2 different procedures. Thank the Lord Neil is working! God's timing is perfect! We will have the presentation of the Africa trip this Sunday, so I hope to have some pictures to post soon.
