Bless Her Heart.....

We smoked ribs this weekend. Picture with me for a minute.....Poor Sadie with no front teeth. The child loves ribs. We got so tickled at supper this evening.....We were sitting on the deck eating and Neil looked over at Sadie as she was destroying the ribs and said "Well, are you enjoying yourself, Jack Sanderson." For those of you who don't know Jack, he is Rob's Dad. Rob is a lifelong friend of Neil's and Jack is probably the most soft spoken man whom you can easily overlook as he stands quietly in the corner. Neil has fond memories of Jack, one in particular is of Jack eating chicken and how he could clean a chicken bone like none other, sucking the marrow out of it. So with that background info, imagine little Sadie with no front teeth cleaning that rib bone.....and doing it from her side teeth. She ate the cantelope the same way....She never missed a beat and enjoyed every single morsel of her dinner. I was laughing too hard to grab the camera.....But hopefully you can imagine with me!
